Summary

The role is responsible for driving HNW business growth within the Tied Agency channel by leveraging deep underwriting expertise and end-to-end case management capabilities. As the key bridge between Agency, Underwriting and Operations, the incumbent will proactively manage complex and high-value cases, expedite underwriting decisions, improve case conversion and turnaround time, and enhance adviser and customer experience throughout the new business journey.

The Job

• Partner with Tied Agency to grow HNW business through underwriting expertise, case consultation and business support.
• Serve as the key liaison among Agency, Underwriting, New Business and Operations teams to expedite case progression and policy issuance.
• Conduct pre-underwriting assessments and provide technical guidance on underwriting requirements.
• Manage end-to-end HNW case onboarding and proactively resolve issues to improve turnaround time and case conversion.
• Support new business cases by coordinating with business partners such as banks, distributors and internal stakeholders on documentation and operational requirements.
• Handle complex and escalated cases, providing timely updates and solutions to agency leaders and financial consultants.
• Deliver underwriting and case management training to strengthen the capability of the agency force.
• Drive service excellence through effective stakeholder management and continuous workflow enhancement.
• Monitor case pipelines, maintain case records and prepare business reports to track performance and service efficiency.
• Participate in strategic initiatives, process improvement projects and ad hoc assignments to support HNW business growth.

The Person

• Degree holder in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in life insurance, preferably in Underwriting, New Business, Case Management or HNW business support.
• Solid knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting principles and operational processes.
• Strong experience in handling complex HNW cases and providing pre-underwriting consultation.
• Good understanding of Premium Financing arrangements and related operational workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across distribution and support functions.
• High level of business acumen, risk awareness, compliance consciousness, accountability and ownership.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese; professional qualifications such as FLMI, ALU, CFP or IIQE certifications are an advantage.
