A Day in the Life

This role supports Medtronic's Pelvic Health portfolio, partnering with healthcare professionals, clinical teams, and sales colleagues to provide clinical and technical support that helps improve patient outcomes. The position works closely with Clinical Specialists, Sales Representatives, and regional sales leadership to support customer education, product adoption, case coverage, and territory growth initiatives across Puerto Rico.

This position is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and operates under a Flex work model. The role requires regular travel throughout Puerto Rico to support hospitals, healthcare facilities, and customer sites (driver´s license is required). Limited travel outside Puerto Rico may be required.

         

         

The Associate Clinical Specialist provides clinical expertise, product support, and customer education for the Pelvic Health portfolio. This role partners closely with sales and clinical teams to support procedures, deliver training, identify growth opportunities, and help healthcare professionals achieve optimal patient outcomes while expanding product awareness across the territory.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide on-site clinical education and product training to healthcare professionals and customers
• Support customer cases and procedures by delivering technical and clinical expertise
• Partner with sales representatives to develop and execute territory growth plans
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource for the Pelvic Health product portfolio
• Collaborate with Clinical Leads, Clinical Management, and Sales teams to support customer needs and business objectives
• Identify opportunities to expand product utilization and customer adoption within the territory
• Participate in conventions, forums, educational programs, and customer meetings to increase product awareness
• Maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, customers, and internal stakeholders to support positive clinical outcomes

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of professional work experience
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher with the ability to communicate in a professional business environment
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Puerto Rico to support customers and clinical activities
• Ability to work in healthcare environments and customer-facing clinical settings

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional work experience
• Experience in hospital, healthcare, or clinical environments
• Experience supporting medical devices, medical technologies, or healthcare products
• Experience providing customer education, clinical training, or technical product support
• Knowledge of Pelvic Health products, procedures, or related therapeutic areas

 

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
