Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – Procurement will support the procurement function by managing sourcing activities, vendor relationships, and contract administration to ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality procurement of goods and services. This role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation capabilities, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories including facilities management services, office supplies, technology, and professional services
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors in alignment with JLL's procurement policies and compliance requirements
• Manage vendor performance through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and relationship management
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and favorable commercial outcomes

Procurement Operations

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with authorization matrices and procurement guidelines
• Ensure compliance with JLL's procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation in system repositories
• Support budget monitoring and spend analysis for assigned categories

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with internal stakeholders across Business Units, Finance, Legal, and Operations to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions
• Provide guidance on procurement processes, policies, and best practices to internal clients
• Support tender processes including RFI, RFP, and RFQ preparation, evaluation, and award recommendations

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and value enhancement
• Support implementation of procurement initiatives, systems, and tools
• Contribute to category strategies and procurement analytics/reporting
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing benchmarks, and industry best practices

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in real estate, facilities management, or professional services environment
• Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and sourcing activities
• Familiarity with procurement systems and ERP platforms

Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• Sound understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and compliance frameworks
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
