Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute and support the preparation of BAU MIS reporting, data extraction, and portfolio analysis;
• Involve and support various risk management workflow re-engineering, revamp of credit risk MIS processes & controls and development of in-house MIS database and applications;
• Enhance MIS processes from time to time in order to formulate appropriate strategies to improve the asset quality of the Bank’s loan portfolios;
• Assist in performing UAT of credit risk related projects;
• Prepare Credit Risk RWA analysis report;
• Prepare post-monitoring report on new Basel III Framework;
• Complete any other related tasks assigned by team head or management.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Mathematics, Statistics, Risk Management, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit risk analytics and management reporting in banking is preferred.
• Experience in Basel III RWA implementation, risk data aggregation, risk analytics, portfolio management is preferred.
• Proficiency in SAS, VBA, MS Office, and data mining skill set.
• Self-motivated, detail-minded, organize and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
