Job Description:
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Financial Reporting Analyst to join the NAIC Financial Reporting team. This full-time position (40 hours/week) has a dotted line to the Director, NAIC Reporting and plays a critical role in the production of timely and accurate NAIC statements and audited financials. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities effectively, and demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

- Shift Timings: 3:30 pm- 12:00 am (require flexibility basis business requirement 5:30 pm-2 am)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 2 days per week from the office, in line with the requirements of the business group
- Role Type: Individual Contributor
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and submit quarterly and annual NAIC statements and supplementary filings with accuracy and timeliness
· Prepare statutory audited financial statements and related supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable reporting requirements
· Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to collect data, resolve issues, and ensure deadlines are met
· Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes through standardization, improved documentation, and workflow efficiencies
· Support ad hoc projects and initiatives related to financial reporting and audits as needed
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 8+ years of relevant job experience
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data, reconciliations, and reporting detail
· Highly organized and detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Self-starter with strong initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across functions
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Reliable and conscientious approach to deadline-driven work
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
· Insurance and/or financial services industry experience
· In-depth knowledge of NAIC statutory accounting principles
· Experience working in medium-to-large organizations with multiple divisions
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel and Word)
· Familiarity with Workiva, StatementPro, and SAP
