Perform a variety of tasks in the assembly process of the blade.

Roles and Responsibilities

·         follow the work instructions.

·         wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage.

·         Remove access tape and material from lightening cable inside the blade.

·         Apply zip ties to lightening cable according to work instructions to attach it to the web.

·         Take out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade.

·         Insert plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing.

·         Two individuals place donut inside the blade utilizing sika.

·         Use of hand tools/scraper to even out sika that is applied to the edge of the donut.

·         Maintain 5s Standards.

 

Required Qualifications

·         Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.  

• Ability to push/pull heavy objects and work with hands for an extended period.   

• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.  

• Knowledge of the department area.

• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.

• Requires wearing of respirator.

Desired Characteristics

• High School Diploma/GED or related experience.

• Previous Manufacturing experience.

Position Shift: 10pm-6:30am
