- Govern the Initiative Lifecycle: Own the Product Area portfolio Kanban (Funnel to Done), defining, refining, and prioritizing initiatives using WSJF and ensuring clear Lean Business Cases and Definitions of Ready.
- Manage Capacity & Economic Guardrails: Allocate Product Area capacity across program roadmaps, portfolio demands, operational backlogs, and technical enablers using Lean Budget Guardrails and fact-based trade-off decisions.
- Drive Stakeholder & Troika Leadership: Serve as the senior content authority within the Product Area Troika, collaborating with Sustain Business Owners, Initiative Owners, and senior governance bodies to resolve priority conflicts and dependencies.
- Lead Network & Structure Optimization: Periodically review product management structures, ways of working, and delivery frameworks with train leadership to drive harmonization, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Manage Enterprise Dependencies & Risks: Identify and mitigate key operational risks, eliminate shadow backlogs or inactive initiatives, and maintain portfolio transparency in coordination with the cPMO.
- Exercise Decision Authority: Hold final content authority for initiative prioritization and sequencing, represent priorities to the Sponsor Board, and approve product management personnel within assigned ARTs and Solution Trains.

- Strategic Leadership & Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of enterprise business processes, value realization, end-to-end cross-divisional thinking, and experience operating in regulated life-sciences environments.
- Stakeholder Management & Governance: Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders, navigate global matrixed environments, resolve complex conflicts, and manage capacity trade-offs transparently.
