Job Description
Context
Work within standard practices and procedures and is supervised on progress and results. Signals gaps in processes and procedures.
Maintains network with a defined group of people, mainly engineers with focus on technical content. Is a sparring partner for GL on process, projects and technical topics.
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above in technical domain (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics).
Experienced in a technical production environment.
Responsibilities
Solutioning / 2nd line support
Contributes to the solution of faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions to ensure zero repeat.
Solves technical and process problems within own focus area structurally (e.g. module).
Engineering
Understands engineering problems related to own tasks, follows learned patterns and proposes solutions to problems.
Undertakes well-defined technical assignments. Contributes to design standards and engineering specifications. Assists in the design, operation and maintenance of equipment, tools and methods. Services in diagnosing and correcting technical problems.
Maintenance
Maintains, validates, provides up-to-date procedures, processes (work preparation) and blueprints/sequences for Factory execution.
Continuous Improvement
Analyzes the production process, points out structural problems and bottlenecks.
Continuously adapt, optimize operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators.
Contributes actively to assigned process improvement projects.
Signals gaps in processes and procedures and solves these.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
