Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex software environments to maintain system reliability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on issue resolution and system improvements.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks to prevent disruptions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Profitability & Performance Mgt PaPM.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software issues within business-critical systems.
- Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level packaged applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive resolution and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques to ensure optimal application performance.
- Excellent communication skills to document issues clearly and convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Profitability & Performance Mgt PaPM.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
