Description
Excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist to join our group practice in Wilmington, NC. Our practice is based out of the New Hanover Regional Medical Center, a 678-bed level II trauma center, which serves as a tertiary care center for seven counties in southeastern coastal North Carolina. We also provide anesthesia services to multiple other locations across the Cape Fear region, including, Caper Fear (Orthopedic) Hospital, Pender Memorial Hospital, Dosher Hospital (Southport), Atlantic Surgi Center, as well as various office-based settings. Our practice has built a stable team of board-certified, career-committed anesthesiologists. Many of our physicians have fellowship training in cardiovascular, pain management, regional, and pediatric anesthesiology. Total Rewards
Hourly Rate: $300 per hour
• Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Heart and Vascular, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Endos, Orthopedics and OB/GYN

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution 
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency 
• Board Eligible or Board Certified  
• Current medical licensure 
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
