The Analytical Development Co-op will be responsible for routine testing of samples, execution of analytical assays in accordance with approved procedures, maintenance of accurate laboratory documentation, and timely reporting of test results to both internal and external partners.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Analytical Development (AD) and is part of the BioPharmaceutical Operations group located at the Nanomedicines Center in Vancouver, BC and will be an on-site role. 

What you will do: 

· Perform Quality Control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products relating to RNA Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) using HPLC, LC-MS, or other established analytical methods.

· Accurately document laboratory activities and analytical test results in compliance with GMP requirements, data integrity principles, and internal procedures.

· Assist in the preparation of technical reports, laboratory summaries, and presentations to communicate analytical findings.

· Support daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration activities, reagent and buffer preparation, inventory management, and ordering of laboratory supplies.

Who you are:

• A student of an University Program in Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical and Biological Engineering, or relevant disciplines with hands-on experience in the laboratory.
• General knowledge of analytical or bioassay techniques.
• Experience with standard analytical and/or molecular biology techniques such as chromatography, gel electrophoresis, etc., is an asset.

The annual salary range for this role is $40K-$50K CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
