Job Description Summary
Works independently under close supervision, plan, schedule and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle. Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develop specifications for new contract orders. Responsible for business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems.How will you make an impact & Requirement
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Leverage data analytics tools to create new dashboards, reports, and any additional ad-hoc requests.
- Display high attention to detail to ensure quality of reporting.
- Collect, summarize and analyze data to assist management in driving short term and long-term strategic decision making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities.
- Report and forecast inventory levels using statistical models and historical data.
- Assist in the implementation of supply chain software and tools.
- Monitor and report on supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
- Create reporting tools for cross functional teams as needed.
- Maintain source data integrity and location for all current dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
(Those necessary to perform the job competently)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word); demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets; strong system aptitude required
- Understanding of forecast and replenishment theory, obtained through APICS or similar training coursework
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; experience in a matrix environment desirable
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid knowledge and practical use of forecasting and inventory planning tools (e.g., Logility, SAP, or equivalent)

- Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level
- Work assignments are diversified; examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems, and new alternatives may be developed to resolve problems
- A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis
- Minimal physical effort is required; work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
