The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $65,840 to $82,300.

Job Summary

The Analyst – Construction & Maintenance supports the Design and Delivery organization by providing administrative, permitting, and project execution support. This role is responsible for coordinating construction and maintenance schedules, managing project documentation and filing systems tracking permitting activities and supporting customer inquiries, and preparing work order packages for field operations. The position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient project execution by maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders, monitoring permit and Dig Safe compliance, coordinating construction notifications, and supporting the timely release of work orders for capital projects. Through strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the Analyst – Construction & Maintenance helps ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare municipal / state excavation and trenching permits, including request and issue of payments, for all contractors and internal crew projects, when required. This includes both operation and maintenance and capital projects.

• Preparing work order packages for field execution for internal and external crews, including but not limited to, printing of necessary shop papers, stores orders, financial approvals, and final release.

• Prepare project work order folders with approved labels, stamps, and stickers to ensure proper tracking and filing.

• Tracking pending and current projects Dig Safes and ensure renewal as required to support project execution.

• Develop address listing and prepare construction notification mailings for all construction projects. 

• Support project service replacement by tracking newly identified riser locations received from Service Leads. This includes scanning the riser sketch to the network drive and updating the project specific spreadsheet with the details provided for each location.

• Maintain and organize the pending and in-construction filing drawers using the approved tracking and filing method.

• Receive customer calls and inquiries and help with resolution or direct them to the right person to resolve the issue.

• Successfully prioritizes and manages various tasks or activities to ensure smooth execution.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience Required:

• Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience or 5 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED (equivalent can be substituted for a degree).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel and the use of formulas for reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
• Proven multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills.
