About the Role
The Alumni and Advancement Operations Officer provides administrative support to help the University maintain accurate alumni and donor records, coordinate activities and events, and support the day-to-day operations of the Alumni and Advancement team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised administrator to gain exposure to alumni relations, fundraising operations and stakeholder engagement within a collaborative university environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Maintaining accurate alumni, donor and stakeholder records in Raiser’s Edge.
Supporting data entry, record updates, gift processing and routine data maintenance activities.
Providing administrative support including meeting coordination, minute taking, document preparation and responding to enquiries.
Assisting with alumni events and engagement activities, including registrations, logistics and record management.
This position makes a significant contribution to the University’s strategic plan to changing 10 million lives, Every One Matters, by 2035 through supporting alumni engagement activities, donor relationships and the effective management of alumni and advancement data. The role reflects Here for Good, Stronger Together, Innovation and Excellence through collaboration, quality service, accurate data management and continuous improvement.
About You
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with strong administrative capabilities and a passion for delivering excellent service. You enjoy working across a variety of tasks, managing competing priorities, and contributing to meaningful stakeholder engagement outcomes within a collaborative team environment.
You will also bring:
Experience using CRM or database systems, with Raiser's Edge experience highly regarded.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
The ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
About the Office of Alumni and Advancement
The Alumni Relations team is committed to actively engaging our graduates in the life of the University through meaningful programs, benefits, services, and communications. The Alumni team also help facilitate class reunions, as well as provide opportunities for professional development, mentoring and presenting. The Advancement team initiate and develop fundraising activities for the University, due to the strong support from its community of donors.

Appointment to this role is conditional on the completion of required pre-employment checks and declarations, each of which must be satisfactory to the University. This includes:
A current completed Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Gender Based Violence Declaration which is satisfactory to the University. The contract of Employment is conditional upon the receipt of these completed compliance checks. A disclosable outcome will not automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration. Each case will be assessed on its individual merits and relevance to the inherent requirements of the role.
