Job Summary

Job Description

Job Specific Duties:

• Increase agency’s growth, effectiveness and production by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling insurance agents;
• Direct and coordinates agency’s sales efforts to maximize growth in new premium, overall sales production and agency effectiveness
• Develop a welcoming climate by offering value added information and opinions, training and developmental opportunities to assigned agents
• Communicate values, strategies, and objectives to agents and staff…monitors and appraises job results
• Accomplish agency objectives by implementing business plans, budgets, and result measurements including recruiting objectives and new agent fast start goals
• Generate new business by identifying and addressing opportunities in the local market
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, insurance carriers assigned agents and co-workers.
• Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and full understand of available products.
• Build company image by collaborating with customers, community organizations, and others; enforcing ethical business practices.
• Review agency’s results and performance data with Market Leader to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing improvement and cost reduction.
• All other related duties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Job requirements Five plus years’ experience in the insurance industry, preferably in marketing, sales and suitability capacity Medicare, life and annuity product experience
• Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Ability to work well within a team
• Excellent time-management skills, ability to work within deadlines Agency sales experience is a must
