About the opportunity

We are seeking passionate and motivated administrative officers to join the Patient Services Team in Day of Surgery Admission Area (DOSA) who understand the importance of high quality, admin support and person-centered care in a dynamic environment. These roles are responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative and reception duties in the areas. You are required to provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

• Experience working in a customer facing, fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience working as an administrative officer in a public hospital (desirable).
• Excellent, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• Strong person-centered focus and excellent conflict resolution skills.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
