Course Description: The iterative processes of real estate development, including market analysis, coordination with local governments, designing development concepts, estimating and financial forecasting, identifying and engaging stakeholders, sequencing development activities into project schedules, sales and marketing considerations, and communicating development plans and proposals (written and oral) to various audiences.

Required Degree: 

Master's degree (or PhD) in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field required. The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Experience: 

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in MEP construction or building systems.

Duties/Expectations: 

Teach CFM 220 - Methods 2: Building Systems (Winter 2027). Class held in person, Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 8:00- 9:00 AM

• Instruct students in person during designated class times
• Provide office consultations and student mentoring (approximately 2 hrs per week)
• Prepare course materials (lectures, homework, projects)
• Evaluate student work
• Write and administer exams.

Adjunct faculty do not attend faculty meetings and are not required to participate in research or citizenship responsibilities.
