Activities Assistant
Full-Time Las Colinas Post Acute Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour DOE

Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about making a difference in people's lives? At Las Colinas Post Acute, we're looking for an Activities Assistant who loves bringing smiles, creating memorable experiences, and helping our residents stay engaged and connected.
This isn't your typical desk job. One day you might be leading a game of bingo, hosting a holiday celebration, coordinating arts and crafts, or helping residents enjoy a community outing. Every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and facilitating engaging activities and events for residents.
- Encourage resident participation and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Lead group activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise programs, and social events.
- Support special celebrations, holiday parties, and community outings.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
- Help maintain activity calendars, attendance records, and supplies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
What We're Looking For
- A positive, enthusiastic, and compassionate personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and a passion for working with seniors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in activities, recreation, customer service, education, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
