About the role
We’re looking for a confident, motivated Activation Lead to join our Hub Operations team at the Uber Partner Location in Tower Hill, London, on a 3-month fixed-term contract, available to start immediately.
You’ll be the person who takes new driver leads from first enquiry to behind the wheel, qualifying them, making sure they’re fully compliant and getting them smoothly into a Splend vehicle. It’s a fast-paced, people-focused role where you’ll speak to 20+ drivers a week, face to face.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm (with an unpaid one-hour lunch from 12pm to 1pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate, nurture and qualify prospective drivers by phone and in person, explaining Splend’s vehicle products and benefits
- Own the onboarding journey from interested lead to active, paying vehicle subscriber
- Work closely with our Uber hub partners to keep the driver pipeline moving
- Make sure every driver meets compliance requirements, including PCO licensing, insurance and background checks, before vehicle handover
- Support drivers who have been deactivated from a platform, coordinating re-activation and training
- Partner with Hub Fleet Depot Managers and Customer Experience Specialists so vehicles are ready when drivers are
- Track pipeline metrics, reduce the time it takes to get drivers activated and hit weekly and monthly volume targets
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales activation, high-volume account management, onboarding or lead generation
- Experience handling a fast-moving customer pipeline while keeping customer satisfaction high
- Strong, proactive verbal communication skills, comfortable running consultative sales calls and in-person training sessions
- Comfortable tracking pipeline metrics and working towards weekly or monthly targets
- Confident, motivated and able to work well independently
- Available to start immediately
- Experience in mobility-as-a-service, automotive, car rental or gig-economy platforms is an advantage
