The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for supporting accounts payable, cash receipts, and banking activities.

The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for supporting accounts payable, cash receipts, and banking activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record daily cash receipts for multiple programs, accurately entering data into large spreadsheets.
• Review, verify, and process invoices for payment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments.
• Reconcile company payables and process payments.
• Assist with month-end close processing and reporting.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments.
• Deposit refund checks on a timely, weekly basis.
• Support the team with check distribution.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)

• Understanding of accounts payable.

MINIMUM JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Accounting Knowledge.
• Excel Skills.
• Ability to multitask/work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
