The role:

As an Accounting RTR Analyst (GL Accountant), you will help drive our goals by:

• Performing month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.

• Reviewing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations prepared by operational accounting teams, investigating variances, and driving resolution of outstanding items.

• Reviewing and validating journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.

• Participating in internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.

• Ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations. 

• Reviewing, improving, and optimizing accounting processes.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Experience in record-to-report or general accounting within a shared services or corporate environment. 

• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting practices. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technologies.

• Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management. 

• Strong attention to detail, analytical and result-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
