This position is responsible to perform a range of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Financial Analysis (GL) and administrative responsibilities. This role involves a significant amount of direct communication with customers as well as exposure to various other departments including Shared Services Accounting, IT, Customer Service, FP&A, Internal Audit, Legal, and Treasury.

Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Treasury | 30%

• Provide the Nutra Blend direct ship accounting functions of customer billing and vendor invoice processing. Satisfy internal and external customers with the best possible service with regard to timely and accurate vendor payments and customer invoicing. Candidate must be able to recognize discrepancies, monitor the status of open items, drive resolution, and provide excellent customer service throughout.
• Manage Treasury process for initiating wire transfers from Nutra Blend to foreign vendors, and maintaining compliance with W-8 reporting requirements.
• Provide back-up support to others in the department as needed.

Financial Accounting & Analysis | 30%

• Perform financial accounting and analysis to report on the Nutra Blend Macros business unit. Responsible for running reports, performing analysis, and updating narratives and commentary based on results provided to leadership.

Tax Reporting | 20%

• Lead, develop, and perform consolidated tax reporting for all 3 Nutra Blend regions to include Sales and Use Tax, Tonnage Tax, and 1099 tax reporting.

Lease Accounting | 10%

• Manages the CoStar Lease accounting process for Nutra Blend working closely with the shared services fixed asset team other internal Nutra Blend team members. Responsible for reconciling balances and researching and resolving any variances monthly.

Accounts Payable Policy & Compliance | 10%

• Provide oversight of Accounts Payable policy, A200, ensuring all expenses are approved and authorized by appropriate managers with approval authorization for total Nutra Blend. Reconciles and resolves any conflicts with policy.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to learn new concepts quickly, especially computer software.
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines, work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Must act with integrity, deliver results, demonstrate thought leadership, and leverage talent
• Effective trouble-shooting, problem resolution skills, and the ability to drive process improvement is essential.
• Capable of independently resolving issues for both internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, maintain relationships with key business partners, and have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Phone Applications, WebEx Applications, Copiers/Scanners, and ERP Systems.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; OR Associate’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting or analysis.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Cash Application a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP systems and excellent Excel skills.

Salary: $53,440 - $80,160

In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges
