The Job

• Manage daily accounting operations, including premium receipt processing and accurate posting of transactions.
• Review cashier daily reports and ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, AML guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor bank transactions, payment logs, and exception cases, and follow up promptly to resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Life Administration, Compliance, IT and Customer Engagement) to support smooth end-to-end processes.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing clear explanations, in line with local regulatory requirements and Group policies.
• Perform ad hoc assignments and contribute to finance process improvement and system implementation initiatives.

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; insurance or financial services experience is an advantage.
• Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a structured and analytical mindset.
• Proactive team player with strong ownership and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
• Excellent command in MS Excel is essential; experience with Alteryx, receipt collection systems and accounting systems is an advantage.
