Account Executive, Paid Media

5W is hiring an AE, Paid Media to plan, run, and optimize campaigns for a range of clients. You'll work across search, social, display, and newer channels, and you'll team up with our account, creative, and analytics groups to get clients real results.

This is a great fit for someone with hands-on buying experience who wants more responsibility and room to grow. You'll own campaigns, talk directly with clients, and learn across a lot of platforms and industries. What You'll Do

• Work with clients and our internal team to set campaign goals, audiences, budgets, and KPIs, then build media plans around them.
• Plan, launch, and manage campaigns across Paid Search (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising), Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest, Snapchat), Display and Programmatic (DSPs like The Trade Desk or DV360, ad networks), and newer channels like CTV, streaming audio, and retail media.
• Manage budgets and pacing across several accounts.
• Check performance daily and adjust bids, targeting, creative, and budgets as needed. Set up A/B tests to keep improving results.
• Build reports that track ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate, and other KPIs, and explain to clients what the results mean and what we should do next.
• Look at client business data alongside media data to see how paid campaigns are affecting sales, leads, and growth.
• Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking, pixels, and tags with our web and analytics teams.
• Work with the creative team on ad ideas, copy, and assets, and use performance data to shape future creative.
• Present media plans and results to clients.
• Keep up with platform updates, privacy changes, and industry trends, and share new ideas with the team.

What You Have

• 1-2 years of experience planning and buying digital media, with results you can show.
• Current or past agency experience working on multiple clients.
• Working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics 4. Experience with Google Tag Manager, programmatic platforms, or LinkedIn and TikTok Ads is a plus.
• Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets). Looker Studio experience is a bonus.
• Experience putting together media strategies and presenting them to clients.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Good organization and attention to detail, with the ability to handle several projects and deadlines at once.
