Role Overview
The Mid Market Account Executive joins Harvey's growing ANZ sales team to drive adoption of AI-powered solutions among mid-sized law firms and professional services organizations across Australia and New Zealand. The team's mission is to establish and scale Harvey's commercial presence in the ANZ market, building durable relationships with firms navigating the integration of AI into legal practice. This role owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting through contracting and renewal—for a named book of mid-market accounts across the region. The Account Executive partners directly with local and global cross-functional teams, including legal engineering, customer success, and product, to tailor Harvey's platform to the needs of ANZ clients. It is a rare opportunity to shape an emerging market for a category-defining legal AI platform at a company moving with exceptional speed and ambition.
What You'll Do
Own a named account list of mid-market prospects and clients across ANZ, prioritizing and cultivating inbound leads and proactively outbounding to high-potential accounts.
Manage the full customer lifecycle from prospecting to contracting, onboarding, expansion, and renewals.
Achieve and exceed revenue targets and other key sales performance metrics.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, understanding their pain points and aligning Harvey's solutions with their needs.
Conduct high-velocity, tailored client evaluations, including product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the power of Harvey's AI platform to prospects and clients.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal engineering, and customer success teams to shape Harvey's solutions for ANZ market requirements and develop go-to-market playbooks that enable regional scaling.
What You Have
Proven track record of selling complex software solutions, with the ability to successfully execute on a consultative, solutions-oriented, value-based selling methodology.
Excited about prospecting, and capable of independently leading a sales cycle from start to finish.
Ability to independently manage a pipeline, accurately forecast key sales performance metrics, and consistently maintain CRM hygiene.
Ability to lead a complex, multi-threaded sale with stakeholders ranging from senior partners and executives to day-to-day product users—especially the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated passion for Harvey's mission and strong understanding of AI and its potential applications in legal and professional services.
Team player who collaborates effectively across internal functions and is energized by contributing to the development of sales processes, culture, and go-to-market playbooks in an emerging market.
Interest in the legal profession and helping lawyers do their jobs better and more efficiently; experience working in or adjacent to the legal industry is a plus but not required.

Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid with flexibility)
Work eligibility: Must have valid Australian work rights; Harvey does not currently offer visa sponsorship for this role
