À propos de ce poste Account Director - Corporate Reputation and Brand Purpose chez We. Communications
About Us
At We., we've spent decades at the intersection of technology and humanity, bridging the gap between what businesses create and how people experience those creations. We've learned that beneath even the most unruly situations — whether it's a global crisis, an emerging technology, or a sweeping organizational change—lies a simple human need. That need could be for trust, connection, safety, or a sense of purpose. But it’s always there. And it is only by uncovering these truths that we can make real, meaningful progress.
Our Team
The We. Corporate Reputation and Brand Purpose (CRBP) team takes an advisor-first approach to corporate communications. We help organizations move their business forward, strengthen their reputation and protect their ability to thrive over the long term. We’re looking for an Account Director who enjoys bringing people and ideas together, has exceptional project management, strong media relations capabilities, and the ability to coordinate complex work across clients, agency teams, contractors, and Studio partners. You’ll lead teams across specialty service areas including executive, financial, crisis, sustainability, nonprofit, and corporate communications, with particular emphasis on business, agriculture, sustainability, and corporate reporting programs. Just as importantly, you’ll keep accounts running smoothly and create an environment where people can do their best work.
What you’ll be doing
- Build genuine relationships with senior media and influencers, listen for useful feedback and spot opportunities for clients.
- Shape and share compelling stories and pitches across earned and owned channels, drawing on your experience with business, agriculture and sustainability media.
- Be a steady, thoughtful partner to clients—offering clear counsel, staying a step ahead and building relationships that last.
- Work with clients to set clear communications goals, then lead the strategy and execution across projects, launches, events and news cycles.
- Keep the work moving by managing timelines, deliverables, budgets, resources and day-to-day coordination across clients, contractors and Studio partners.
- Turn research, data and industry knowledge into useful recommendations, fresh opportunities and clear takeaways for internal and external stakeholders.
- Make sure reporting for high-profile communications work is accurate, useful and ready for senior audiences.
- Help junior team members grow through clear guidance, thoughtful feedback and hands-on support, while managing the development and performance of direct reports.
- Pitch in on staffing, utilization, hiring and onboarding, and know when to bring senior leaders into the conversation.
- Bring your ideas to new business, marketing and thought leadership—from drafting proposals and content to helping lead presentations.
What you’ve Accomplished
- You bring 5–7+ years of experience in communications, marketing or media—ideally in an agency or relevant industry—including 4+ years of management experience.
- You know the media landscape and stay current on emerging trends, with experience in business, agriculture and sustainability media.
- You’re an organized project manager who is comfortable coordinating day to day with clients, contractors and Studio or creative partners.
- Experience with sustainability, ESG, CSR, social impact or related corporate reporting would be a real plus.
- You’ve used AI and modern analytics to support communications programs.
- Experience in agriculture, food, financial services or purpose-led communications is helpful.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, abstract, and apply insights to strategic recommendations based on research and industry knowledge.
- Exceptional presentation and consulting skills, including experience delivering high-stakes presentations to executive audiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and persuasive messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience with and understanding of the uses and limits of AI tools in communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.
- Experience supporting agriculture, food, financial services, sustainability, or purpose-led corporate communications programs.
- Experience developing sustainability, ESG, CSR, social impact, or annual reporting communications.
- Experience pitching new business and developing teams or capabilities from the ground up.
- Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations.
