Job Summary

Responsible for implementing the Access Authorization and FFD Programs in accordance with site procedures and Federal regulations.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate in-processing elements for obtaining and maintaining unescorted access, including but not limited to, background investigations, psychological assessments, criminal history checks, drug and alcohol testing, and training.
• Maintain a system of files for storage and protection of screening data.
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing, including but not limited to, pre-access, random, post event, follow-up, and for-cause.
• Assist with coordinating the random testing and follow-up program processes.
• Ensure company and contractor personnel are aware of their employee control responsibilities when handling suspensions, terminations, and work reduction layoffs.
• Conduct Plant security computer updates, including but not limited to, data entry verifications, validations, terminations, administrative holds, and expiration date and access level changes.
• Fulfill the FFD Technical Specialist position on industry audits, as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
Access Authorization/ FFD Coordinator, Associate:

Education:

• High school diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant experience.

 Work Experience:

• One year of experience at a nuclear power plant preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Highly detailed oriented.

Access Authorization/FFD Coordinator, Mid-level:

Education:

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Social Science or related field
• OR high school diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Work Experience:

• Three (3) years of experience at a nuclear power plant. Two years of in-processing or FFD experience.

Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of Plant security computer.
• Knowledge of Access Authorization and FFD rules.
• Maintain Reviewing Official qualification.
• Highly detail oriented.

 

Access Authorization/FFD Coordinator, Senior:

Education:

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Social Science or related field
• OR high school diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Work Experience:

• Five years of experience at a nuclear power plant. Three years of in-processing or FFD experience.

Other Requirements:

• Highly detailed oriented.
• Reviewing Official qualified.
• Knowledge of Plant security computer.
• Knowledge of Access Authorization and FFD rules.

Must establish and maintain a permanent residence within a 45-minute safe drive time to the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant.

Compensation Range:

$63,496.00 - $109,543.00
