THE WORK:
You’ll develop and review electrical commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for data center projects.
You’ll inspect and validate electrical installations, including HV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, and emergency power.
You’ll ensure compliance with electrical installation standards, government codes, AHJ requirements, and construction health and safety practices.
You’ll coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors, providing technical guidance and commissioning progress updates.
You’ll review electrical designs, specifications, submittals, test scripts, and factory and site test reports, while tracking RFIs and resolving technical issues.
You’ll conduct quality audits and witness electrical tests to verify compliance with client requirements and data center operational needs.
You’ll prepare commissioning documentation and sequence of energization plans, identifying risks and monitoring mitigation for safe testing and energization.
You’ll monitor project schedules, equipment deliveries, corrective actions, and documentation approvals, and perform other duties as assigned.
Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering
Experience commissioning low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical equipment and systems
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Data center project experience, particularly in LV/MV electrical commissioning
Professional Engineer (PE) license
NR10 Basic and SEP training
Commissioning certifications and/or an MBA
