Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptional 3D Character Artist to join our team to be part of World of Tanks: Heat. 

Reports to

3D Character Artist Lead

What will you do?

• Translate concepts into detailed character models, considering aspects such as appearance, costumes, accessories, and overall visual style, form and silhouette.
• Collaborate with the Art Director, Art Manager and Technical Art to execute the art style.
• Mentor Junior members of the team both artistically and technically.
• Uphold the quality of the characters both in terms of consistency and style.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of industry experience as a 3D Character Artist or demonstration of at least 1 shipped AAA title.
• Exceptional understanding of videogame 3D character art and related workflows.
• A strong understanding of human anatomy with a deep understanding of creating realistic humans for videogames including hair and textures.
• Hands-on experience working in game engines, including asset integration, optimization, and visual polish passes
• Solid hard surface modeling skills
• Strong knowledge of creating topology for animation.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing software and pipelines (Maya, Blender, Marvelous Designer, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop).
• A problem-solving mentality with a team first attitude.
• Self-motivated with a productive attitude and the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good English communication and writing skills.
