Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a 24/7 Commercial Water Heater Express Delivery & Warehouse Specialist.

Shift Information:

• Standard Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekend/Weekday On-Call and After-Hours Availability Required

Position Summary:

The 24/7 Express Response Water Heater Delivery Team Member is responsible for emergency and scheduled commercial water heater deliveries while providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a safe work environment. When delivery activity is slow, team members support warehouse operations through inventory cycle counts, counter replenishment, and other assigned warehouse tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency and scheduled water heater delivery requests.
• Safely load, transport, deliver, and position commercial water heaters.
• Verify material accuracy and inspect products for damage prior to delivery.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Complete required delivery documentation and tracking requirements.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform cycle counts when deliveries are not scheduled.
• Replenish counter inventory and forward pick locations.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in installation and service within our industry is preferred
• Ability to lift 90+ pound objects frequently and 50+ pound objects occasionally
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Willingness to participate in on-call, evening, weekend, and holiday rotations.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and delivery tools (stair climbers, lift gates, hand trucks and more)
• Ability to work in warehouse, customer jobsite, and outdoor environments
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads, routing and tracking systems, delivery documentations and electronic records
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
