OUR BANK - The Federal Reserve is the central bank of the United States and is one of the most influential, trusted, and prestigious financial organizations. It consists of twelve Reserve Banks located around the country and the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta territory covers the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which includes Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, and portions of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Atlanta Fed and the other Reserve Banks play an important part in all three of the Fed's functions: monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and the operation of a nationwide payment system.

SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT: 

• Provides analytical support on data-driven problems or projects of limited scope and under defined procedures and practices; follows standard procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained; receives detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
• Works with leadership and other resources to assess current capabilities, clarify business needs and identify why problems may be occurring; analyses data-driven problems with appropriate logic and fact finding; identifies irregularities or issues in work activities before major problems appear; organizes data and information in a manner that effectively communicates issues and underlying cause/effect relationships
• Provides support and collaboration in completing analysis, engages other stakeholders in collecting feedback and input to complete work activities
• Contributes to process improvement and solution discussions and may present outcomes to management; assists in studies to improve operations efficiency and department services
• Assists in the development and design of new business processes and the updating of existing business processes

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Strong in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint

Additional Requirements:  

• This position will require at minimum fingerprinting for a criminal background check, education and employment verification, along with potential additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of any required background screening. These screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to approximately 8 weeks to be completed. The screening covers areas such as education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reaches out to your references and people that know you well. 

• For Law Enforcement positions, physical, psychological, drug, stress/EKG, and attending an academy will be required.

• Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta employees must comply with the Bank’s ethics rules.
