About the Role

We are currently seeking to appoint a Recovery Coordinator to provide holistic, person-centred support to women entering the service, including women who may be experiencing or have experienced rough sleeping, homelessness, alcohol and/or substance use, and other complex needs.

You will work alongside women to understand their individual circumstances, strengths and aspirations, helping them to develop achievable recovery goals and access the support they need to move towards greater stability, independence and wellbeing.

The role will involve coordinating individual treatment and recovery pathways, including assessment, care planning, psychosocial interventions and group-based recovery activities. You will work closely with colleagues, specialist services and external agencies to ensure women receive coordinated and consistent support.

What You'll Do

• Provide person-centred support to women experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, alcohol and/or substance use, trauma and other complex needs, helping them identify and achieve their recovery goals.
• Manage a caseload and coordinate recovery plans, working collaboratively with women, colleagues, families, carers and partner agencies to ensure effective and holistic support.
• Develop and facilitate women-centred groups and activities that promote confidence, peer support, social connection, recovery and practical life skills.
• Work in a trauma-informed, strengths-based and non-judgemental way, creating safe and inclusive spaces where women feel heard, respected and empowered to make positive changes.
• Work collaboratively across services to improve access to housing, health, treatment, education, training, employment and community support, helping women build stability, independence and sustainable recovery.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need

• Experience supporting adults with complex needs, particularly women experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, substance use or multiple disadvantage.
• Understanding of trauma-informed, recovery-focused and person-centred practice, with a commitment to supporting women’s safety, dignity, choice and independence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage women who may have experienced trauma, exclusion or difficult experiences with services.
• Experience or confidence in facilitating groups and activities, creating safe, inclusive and supportive environments that encourage participation and peer connection.
• Ability to work collaboratively, managing a caseload and working effectively with multidisciplinary teams, specialist services and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.
