About the Role

Working from our modern facilities in the Yarra Valley, our Wine and Hospitality Specialist supports the day-to-day operation of the Cellar Door across a range of guest-facing areas. This role offers daytime hours only, a rarity in hospitality and retail, and the opportunity to be part of a welcoming team focused on delivering a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities:

•      Deliver warm, knowledgeable and polished guest service across the Cellar Door, ensuring every interaction reflects CHANDON’s premium wine, hospitality and brand standards.

•      Conduct structured wine tastings and share confident product knowledge of CHANDON’s sparkling wines, varietals, winemaking approach and guest offerings.

•      Support wine, retail and club conversion opportunities by identifying guest needs and contributing to sales outcomes in a natural and service-led way.

•      Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, safety and organisation across guest-facing and back-of-house service areas.

About You:

•      Previous hospitality, cellar door, wine tourism, retail or premium guest service experience, ideally with exposure to wine tastings or beverage service.

•      A genuine interest in wine, with the confidence to develop and share product knowledge in an engaging and approachable way.

•      Comfortable working across a busy cellar door environment, balancing guest experience, sales opportunities and operational priorities.

•      A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail, particularly in presentation, guest seating, reservations and end-of-day processes.

•      Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, with weekday availability also desirable.
