As a Waiter/Waitress at Conrad Athens The Ilisian, you will be integral to creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued during their visit. Your attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and ability to anticipate guests' needs will help set the standard for luxury service that our guests have come to expect at our esteemed establishment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, provide menus, and ensure they have a comfortable dining experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, maintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and service standards are met.
• Anticipate guests' needs, offering additional items or adjustments as necessary.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints swiftly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings to stay informed about daily specials and operational updates.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, especially regarding health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong passion for delivering exceptional guest service and hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment, exhibiting professionalism and poise.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic knowledge of food and beverage service protocols.
• Dynamic personality with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest engagement.
