The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to support the Electronic Warfare (EW) Line of Business (LoB).
As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be part of a dynamic business team focused on growth and expansion of our current customer base and technology portfolio. The EW LoB is a $2.5B organization with over 2,000 engineers. You will be the principal engineering advisor to the Line of Business leadership to help shape our technical workforce, build our technical capabilities, and drive technology insertion improving program performance, business growth, delivery for improved sales, and establish our team as the premier solutions leader for our customers.
The VP of Engineering must have a broad understanding of evolving technical trends, recommend activities to strategically take advantage of those trends, and apply those trends to meet our customers’ mission requirements.
Additionally, the VP of Engineering will identify technical SMEs in developing, shaping and delivering technical solutions in support of current and new business missions. You will be responsible for identifying gaps in our technology leading to growth and development of new and improved innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
This position will work closely with EW Operations and Business Development leadership on strategic business initiatives and partnering to strengthen our technical solutioning and expansion into new market areas. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working on advanced, complex technical projects requiring innovative solutioning and industry knowledge. In addition, the ideal candidate will have direct experience with all phases of business from strategic capture and corporate investment in next generation technology to program execution through industry standard best practice processes and personnel growth and incentives.
Focus areas include:
· Driving and managing internal investments in new technology into the business
· Managing product and systems roadmaps
· Creating shared engineering processes and procedures and identifying common engineering tools to support collaboration and accelerate development
· Shaping and strengthening workforce talent and growth
· Establishing strong collaboration across the entire EW LoB to strengthen CACI’s competitive position in current and new markets
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering)
- Minimum of 18 years related professional experience, including 15 years’ experience in developing technical solutions for business development, program management, capture management, marketing, and/or proposal development, in the federal services market
- Proven ability to effectively lead and grow large organizations with highly skilled and talented individuals
- Demonstrated ability to interface with Senior leadership teams from both Corporate business and Government.
- Demonstrated clear and effective oral and written communications skills regarding technical solutioning and proposals
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to obtain Top Secret special access security clearance
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- Systems Engineering
- Complex software sustainment and modernization
- AI/ML and Agentic Production AI
- RF/Signal Processing
- Understanding of key markets:
- EW
- Mission and Platform integration
- C5ISR
- C2 Networks
- Communications
Desired:
· Master of Science degree in a technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
· Twenty years’ experience in developing innovative technical solutions
· Project Management Institute (PMI) certification

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$199,200 - $468,100
