About Clay
AI is unleashing the biggest wave of company creation in history. Clay's mission is to be the engine those companies use to grow to their full potential.
Clay predicts the next best action for your business and then helps you take it. We started by aggregating the best data for B2B companies. Then, we built the infrastructure to run any personalized campaign on top of it, including emails, ads, landing pages, and workflows that make reps more productive. Now, we're building agents that can help grow your company for you. We're already helping thousands of customers — including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Visa — go to market with unique data, signals, and AI research.
In 2026, we raised a $115M Series D at $7.1B Valuation led by Wellington — and are on track to cross $200M in revenue this quarter. We also launched a $1M Scholarship fund for GTME Education.

VC Partnerships @ Clay
We're looking for a VC Partnerships Claymate to turn Clay's investor network into a meaningful pipeline and relationship-building channel. You'll report to our Chief of Staff and work cross-functionally with Sales, Growth Strategy, Marketing, and Partnerships to generate net-new pipeline, accelerate live deals, and deepen executive relationships with existing customers.
What You'll Do
Manage and activate our investor network - Own relationships with our existing and prospective investors. You’ll turn these partnerships into a revenue-generating channel that drives net-new pipeline, accelerates deals, and deepens relationships with existing customers.
Build net-new pipeline - Meet regularly with investors, understanding their existing portfolios and networks, and work with our sales team to prioritize the right accounts for introductions. You’ll think about the ideal contact and message for that person - an outreach note to a CEO should look very different from one to a Head of Sales.
Multithread into existing customers - Partner with our Growth Strategy team to leverage investors to get intros to senior executives at current customers to build stronger relationships.
Turn VC Partnerships into a scalable machine - As we hire more GTMEs and Growth Strategists, you'll build the systems and playbooks that let us scale our investor-sourced intros work: how we prioritize accounts, write forwardable notes, track introductions, etc.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in partnerships, VC platform, investors relations or a similar role.
Strong executive presence. You're comfortable building relationships with everyone from investors and execs to individual contributors, and you can represent Clay thoughtfully in these conversations.
Excellent written and verbal communication. You have a writer’s instinct and know how to craft sharp, personalized outreach and coach others to do the same.
You’re process oriented. You naturally build systems for tracking, reporting, prioritization, and follow-through.
Deep familiarity using AI as part of your day-to-day workflow to automate processes and increase leverage.
Comfort with ambiguity. You're energized by fast-moving environments where priorities shift and the playbook is still being written.
What This Role Isn’t
This is not an investor sourcing role. You'll build relationships across Clay's existing and prospective investor base, but you won't be responsible for identifying new investors. You do not need to come into the role with an established investor network.
This is not an investor relations or fundraising role. Our Finance team owns investor updates, board materials, and the core fundraising process. You might contribute context, but Finance will remain the primary owner.
