Job Posting: Transportation Attendant

Hours : Full Time - No Weekends

Position Purpose: The Transportation Attendant supports the safe and comfortable transport of PACE/LIFE participants to and from appointments, promoting their safety and well-being while ensuring timely and accurate communication with the team.

What You Will Do:

• Assist drivers in transporting participants, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Accompany participants to medical appointments, providing support with ambulation, toileting, and ensuring their comfort.
• Maintain constant communication with the center and Transportation Supervisor regarding participant status.
• Perform daily vehicle cleaning and sanitization, assisting in the transport of supplies and mail.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address participant needs and report concerns promptly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (transportation and human services experience preferred).
• At least one year of experience working with elderly or frail populations, or completion of training within the PACE organization.
• CPR training or willingness to complete training.
• Valid driver's license in good standing preferred.
• Must meet the Employee Medical Statement requirements (State of North Carolina).
