You want to boost your career and collaborate with expert, talented colleagues to solve and deliver against our clients' most important challenges? We are growing and are looking for people to join our team. You'll be part of an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment of 300.000 employees. Our dynamic organization allows you to work across functional business pillars, contributing your ideas, experiences, diverse thinking, and a strong mindset. Are you ready?
About your role
You will play a key role in delivering strategic, high-impact technology projects for utilities clients in Germany, helping them navigate a rapidly changing energy landscape. Working at the intersection of business, technology and transformation, you will shape solutions that improve performance, resilience and customer value. You will advise clients on modern utility challenges such as digital operations, data-driven decision-making, platform modernization and the responsible use of cutting-edge technologies, including AI. As part of a collaborative team, you will translate complex requirements into pragmatic solutions, guide stakeholders through change and contribute to building the future of utilities.
You…
- Bring 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, industry or an equivalent environment, ideally with exposure to the utilities or energy sector (e.g. energy retail, distribution and grid operations, generation, or metering)
- Have hands-on knowledge of the energy value chain and current market dynamics in Germany, such as the energy transition (Energiewende), regulatory frameworks, market communication (Marktkommunikation), smart metering, or new business models around flexibility, e-mobility and decentralized energy
- Have experience across the project lifecycle – from requirements gathering, process design and functional specification through to testing, roll-out and hypercare – in agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery models
- Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, structured problem-solving, analytical thinking and resilience in a fast-paced project environment
- Are able to gather, validate, synthesize, document and communicate data and information for a range of audiences, translating complex topics into clear, decision-ready insights and presentations for both business and technical stakeholders
- Translate business challenges into pragmatic solutions across technology, data and process, balancing client needs, feasibility and value
- Are confident applying modern technologies – including cloud platforms, data & analytics, automation and AI – to real utilities use cases, and are curious to keep learning as the technology landscape evolves
- Bring familiarity with relevant industry platforms an advantage – for example SAP for Utilities (IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities), CRM and customer engagement, GIS, MDM/smart-metering or comparable sector solutions
- Engage confidently with clients, architects and delivery teams, building trusted relationships and guiding stakeholders through change
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in German (minimum B2, ideally C1) and English (minimum B2)
- Are willing to travel and show project-related mobility across Germany and, where required, the wider DACH region
Given that this is just a short snapshot of the role we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the requirements listed above.
