Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Advanced Surgical & Clinical Practice

• Robotic Mastery: Utilize MWHC’s industry-leading da Vinci 5 platforms to perform complex pelvic organ prolapse repairs, sacrocolpopexy, and fistula repairs.
• Specialized Care: Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for urinary/fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic floor dysfunction, and mesh complications.
• Office-Based Procedures: Lead a robust outpatient clinic offering urodynamics, cystoscopy, posterior tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS), and sacral neuromodulation.

2. Strategic Program Leadership

• Referral Synergy: Collaborate with the physicians and APPs within the Mary Washington Medical Group (MWMG) and regional independent OB/GYNs to streamline the referral pipeline.
• Quality & Innovation: Implement evidence-based protocols to improve patient outcomes and decrease recovery times, leveraging MWHC’s "iCare" standards.
• Patient Education: Serve as the community face of pelvic health through educational seminars and outreach to primary care and geriatric networks.

Qualifications:

• Education/Training: MD or DO; Fellowship-trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS).
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in OB/GYN
• Robotic Proficiency: Strong track record in robotic-assisted pelvic surgery is required.
• Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Base Salary Range:

• $370,000 (min) - $370,000 (max)
