The Position

We are looking for an experienced On-Site Manager who will be based at one of our client sites in the Anwick, Lincolnshire area. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational delivery while driving an exceptional experience for both our client and our temporary workforce.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the site, managing a team of 11 coordinators & recruiters and a workforce of 350+ production operatives.
• Coordinate workforce scheduling to achieve 100% shift coverage and optimize labour costs.
• Oversee all aspects of recruitment activity ensuring recruitment sessions are scheduled daily and supporting with registration of candidates.
• Ensuring all candidates are legally compliant and are inducted to the clients requirements.
• Responsible for leading recruitment campaigns to ensure a consistent flow of applicants. Including social media, job platforms, local business support and partnering with government schemes etc.
• Ensure compliance across all site activity to be in keeping with our internal policies and ALP guidelines.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, using our purpose built platform to cross reference with client date. Making sure payroll is completed on time and invoices are correct.
• Support agency workers with general queries
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to meet service level agreements and client expectations.
• Champion adoption and usage of our product platform with team members, workers and clients.
• Conduct performance reviews with staff, providing coaching and support to help them meet their targets
• Supervise the accurate processing of rotas, holiday bookings, sickness and absence tracking
• Support the onboarding, development, and engagement of workers on site
• Act as the key point of contact for all operational matters related to the account
• Lead weekly meetings with site managers and recruiters to review operational performance (e.g. absences, KPIs)
• Maintain excellent working relationships with client representatives and internal departments at Job&Talent
• Provide regular updates and reports on KPIs and service performance to internal and external stakeholders
• Investigate and respond to any service complaints, ensuring resolution and follow-up actions are completed
• Attend weekly meetings with clients to review performance, share insights, and gather service feedback

A successful candidate will have

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Strong industrial recruitment background
• Proven ability to manage and develop a large team
• Good understanding of UK right to work legislation & worker rights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of the local jobs market
• Keen eye for detail - able to complete reports accurately & on time
• Proficient IT skills, including good knowledge of Google sheets
