Job Responsibilities:

Core Analytical Work

  • Conduct RMBS transaction analysis, including assessment of collateral characteristics, deal structures, credit enhancement levels, and legal frameworks.

  • Identify and focus on key credit issues during the new‑issue rating process.

  • Review and evaluate banker cash‑flow model outputs, providing feedback on structural assumptions.

Committee & Internal Collaboration

  • Present analytical findings to rating committees with clarity and confidence.

  • Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accurate and consistent application of criteria.

Modeling & Methodology

  • Contribute to the enhancement of structured finance criteria, models, and analytical tools.

  • Perform sensitivities, transaction comparisons, and stress‑testing tasks under the guidance of senior team members.

Research & Publications

  • Produce and publish market updates, newsletters, or concise commentary with minimal supervision.

External Engagement

  • Participate in meetings with bankers, issuers, investors, and other market participants to discuss transaction details and analytical considerations.

  • Represent the team professionally in all client‑facing interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, math, engineering, computer science, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, banking, mortgage finance, or a relevant analytical role.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Office applications.

  • Organized, deadline‑driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
