About the Role

Gatik is seeking a safety-minded, technology-focused Transportation Coordinator to support and streamline local middle-mile logistics operations in Ajax, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee daily vehicle movement, route coordination, maintenance scheduling, and core operational reporting. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, you will partner closely with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution across our fleet. You will be instrumental in maintaining Gatik’s strict safety standards while driving peak delivery efficiency and supporting autonomous vehicle integration.

This role is onsite 5 days per week in Ajax, Ontario.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily transportation operations, route planning, schedule management, and operational coverage.
• Perform vehicle shunting duties and assist with driver and equipment availability tracking.
• Manage vehicle maintenance routines and coordinate service schedules to minimize downtime.
• Serve as the central communication link between drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams.
• Complete administrative reporting, maintain operational documentation, and support the Transportation Supervisor with daily tasks.

What We're Looking For

• Valid DZ driver’s license with experience operating CDL or box trucks.
• Proven experience in transportation dispatching, shunting, or logistics operations coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word alongside strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort adapting to new technology and supporting cutting-edge autonomous vehicle innovation.

Position Highlights & Benefits

• Location: Ajax, Ontario
• Compensation: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour (Weekly pay)
• Schedule Options: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (AM: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM | PM: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM; includes overnight/weekend coverage)
