OUR MISSION
Bringing the most competent tradesmen to the most complex workforce by the most passionate instructors in the world.
Total Tech offers a unique approach to technician training. This approach melds valuable lessons of years of experience with a systematic progression for diagnostics. Theory is taught in relation to the technician’s viewpoint. Service technicians learn theory by hearing, seeing, and then doing. The Total Tech experience encompasses all facets of this learning paradigm.
Tired of late-night emergency calls, blistering roofs, attics, and unpredictable hours? Ready to pass your hard-earned knowledge down to the next generation?
Total Tech is seeking a full-time HVAC Instructor who is highly skilled in the trade but remains humble, patient, and dedicated to helping others succeed. If you love the trade but are looking for a steady, rewarding career move with great work-life balance, we want to hear from you.
Why Make the Switch to Teaching?
- Predictable Schedule: No on-call rotations, no late-night emergencies, and no weekend surprises. You will know your exact hours every single week.
- Controlled Environment: Trade your service truck for a comfortable, clean, and climate-controlled classroom and hands-on training lab.
- True Team Culture: Join a supportive, tight-knit team operating with mutual respect and zero big egos.
- A Lasting Legacy: Experience the reward of watching a student go from knowing nothing to landing their first job.
What We Are Looking For
While your technical knowledge is vital, your attitude and heart for people matter most to us. We are looking for:
- Experience with Humility: Years of solid field experience, while remaining approachable and patient with beginners.
- A True Team Player: Someone who lifts others up, collaborates daily, and values group success.
- A Heart to Teach: A genuine care for student success and a willingness to explain concepts in different ways so no one gets left behind.
- Clear Communicator: Confident speaking to groups and explaining complex concepts to newcomers.
