As the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity, we can offer you a unique opportunity to feel valued, free from constraints and able to grow your career, while you’re helping us offer the highest standards of care. It starts here. It starts with you.

Build a brighter future while you’re helping us build a healthier nation. At Nuffield Health, our approach is to fully integrate medicines into a personalised pathway of patient care. That means you’ll benefit from a way of working that allows you to do the best job you can. It’s everything you need to grow your career. It starts with you.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our Bristol Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HPC. You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You’re a focused, flexible and motivated team worker. Wherever you’re currently working, Nuffield Health is where you’ll excel.

As a Theatre Practitioner / ODP you will;

• Work closely with leading consultants and other like-minded professionals, who will respect and value what you bring to the close-knit multidisciplinary team.
• Enjoy opportunities to work on a varied caseload using technology, equipment and facilities, which are all state-of-the-art.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
• Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate.
• As part of the wider hospital team you will interact with colleagues on the ward because you understand that continuity in patient care is key.

With drive, passion and high standards, you might join us from the NHS or a private setting. Either way, you will discover unrivalled scope to work autonomously, making full use of your skills and knowledge and adding value.

Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind. From Holiday in line with the Working Time Directive, Access to our Pension Scheme and discounted gym membership at £35.00 a month.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
