Our client, a Germany-based global health technology company, is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join their growing team. The company develops medically precise hardware and software solutions for health assessment and is currently building a cloud-based body composition analysis web application used by healthcare professionals worldwide.
About the Role
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a cloud-based medical software product. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile, product-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test cases for web applications.
- Create automated test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories.
- Design and maintain automated test environments and test data.
- Integrate automated test scenarios into the development pipeline.
- Analyze, document, and report test execution results.
- Support the development team in verifying software increments and ensuring product quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile, product-focused environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in test automation for web applications.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing automated UI and API tests for web and mobile applications.
- Experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python.
- Experience working with IDEs such as PyCharm.
- Experience integrating Confluence and JIRA into test infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Lithuanian.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with web security concepts is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Hamburg, Germany (approximately one week during the onboarding process).
