About Boxbot
Boxbot is transforming logistics through flexible automation, creating the dynamic storage systems of the future. As industries face increasing pressure from labor shortages, rising costs, and growing demand for efficiency, our technology provides a smarter, more scalable way to store and handle goods. We replace traditional fixed conveyors and racking with intelligent, spatially aware systems that can dynamically move, store, and retrieve items with precision and speed. Our platform seamlessly integrates advanced robotics with powerful software, delivering a unified solution that optimizes operations across a wide range of industries.
We're a close-knit, well-funded team moving quickly to bring this technology to market. We're looking for builders who take pride in their work, thrive on solving hard problems, and are excited to help shape the future of automated storage and logistics.
What to Expect
Test and Deployment Systems Engineers take our machines from first power-on through live operation at a customer site. They bring up and qualify new systems in the shop, then lead installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing in the field. They are the primary technical contact for customers during deployment and lead troubleshooting when issues arise onsite.
What You'll Do
Test and Qualification
- Lead integration and bring-up of new machines, from first power-on through fully automated operation
- Own test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria at every level, and characterize throughput and reliability against specification
- Utilize test fixtures, endurance rigs, and instrumentation, and turn the resulting data into decisions
- Work alongside controls, software, electrical, and mechanical engineers to validate new features as they are developed
- Plan and run Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
- Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and startup through punch list, handover, and ramp to sustained uptime
- Act as primary technical contact for customers: triage reported issues, communicate status, and train their teams
- Isolate root cause across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software, drive fixes into design, and build the diagnostics that make remote support possible
