Sobre este puesto de Temporary Accounting & Controlling Specialist en Destinus
Imagine this. You step into a key finance role at one of the busiest points of the year, helping ensure our German accounts are accurate, reconciled, audit-ready, and closed properly. As our Temporary Accounting & Controlling Specialist on a 6-month fixed-term contract, your main focus will be supporting the year-end closing process, bringing solid country-level accounting experience and the ability to get hands-on with reconciliations, account clean-ups, audit documentation, and financial analysis.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already understands what a year-end close involves in Germany and can quickly take ownership of tasks with limited supervision. You will work closely with our Finance team, helping clear outstanding items, prepare supporting documentation, investigate discrepancies, and ensure IFRS and HGB adjustments are correctly reflected.

Our innovative technologies are designed to meet the unique demands of modern defense operations, delivering unparalleled speed, precision, and cost effectiveness. Destinus partners with government agencies and defense organizations worldwide to provide advanced solutions for mission-critical operations, enabling a new era of efficiency and technological superiority. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.

Who You Are
You know your way around a year-end close and do not need every step mapped out for you. You are comfortable opening an account, spotting something that does not look right, digging into the transactions, and figuring out what needs to happen next.
You are structured, analytical, and detail-oriented, but you also understand that year-end is about getting things done. You communicate clearly, keep documentation organized, and know when to escalate an issue. You enjoy working collaboratively while being comfortable taking ownership of your own accounting topics and driving them through to completion.
