Just imagine making travel and expense operations feel effortless — accurate, on time, and simple for employees. Then make it real.
About the role
As our BSO TEM Accountant, you'll manage travel and expense operations: reviewing expense reports, keeping policy-compliant, handling exceptions, and administering corporate credit cards. You'll join the Global Travel Expense Management Team, partnering with global and local stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant, and efficient services that meet local-specific needs. It's hands-on, combining strong local ownership with global exposure.

- Solid accounting skills and finance fundamentals
- Experience with process improvement
- Problem-solving skills
- Comfort with change
- Genuine ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data reporting
- Good critical thinking skills
Experience:
- 5+ years of overall professional experience, including 2+ years of TEM accountant experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance would be preferred
What you'll build (your key responsibilities)
- Review and process expense reports, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance
- Handle exceptions and resolve operational issues proactively
- Administer corporate credit cards and related processes
- Partner with stakeholders across the business
- Follow global standards with local-specific requirements
- Identify and implement practical process improvements
- Build trusted relationships and grow into the go-to TEM expert
- Proactively join the global initiatives and local projects
If you've worked in a role where you balanced compliance, detail, and multiple stakeholders, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your sense of ownership, your problem-solving mindset, and your calm, careful approach under pressure. A collaborative, service-minded approach goes a long way.
Life on the team
You'll join the Global Travel Expense Management Team, part of the LEGO Group, based in China. We keep travel and expense services running smoothly across regions — your work supports colleagues around the world. You'll build TEM expertise, work with global stakeholders, and stay connected with regular one-to-ones, weekly meetings, and a hybrid rhythm that gives you the best of both worlds.
What success looks like
In your first year, you'll take full ownership of both China and global travel and expense operations — meeting your KPIs, keeping backlogs in check, and handling exceptions with confidence. You'll become the person colleagues come to with TEM questions, and you'll make compliance easier and the experience better for everyone.
Looking ahead, the team is standardizing how we work globally, supporting system migrations, and refining our global TEM strategy — so there's room to grow. You'll work closely with our local team, the wider Global TEM team, employees and PA, and FBP, tax, and Global Travel and local PPC team across the business.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
