The Technology / Infrastructure Architect is responsible for defining, assessing, and evolving the enterprise technology and infrastructure architecture to ensure reliable, scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology foundations. The role covers compute, storage, network, virtualization, operating platforms, infrastructure services, hosting, cloud and hybrid environments, technology standards, lifecycle management, resilience, and modernization
Requirements
· Develop and maintain the enterprise technology and infrastructure architecture in alignment with business strategy and enterprise architecture direction.
· Assess the current infrastructure landscape, including compute, storage, networks, virtualization, operating systems, hosting, and shared technology services.
· Define target-state technology and infrastructure architecture and transition roadmaps.
· Develop technology standards, reference architectures, principles, patterns, and approved technology portfolios.
· Design scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available infrastructure architectures.
· Define architecture for on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
· Assess infrastructure capacity, utilization, performance, availability, and lifecycle status.
· Identify technology obsolescence, end-of-life risks, technical debt, and modernization opportunities.
· Define architecture requirements for backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, high availability, and fault tolerance.
· Support network architecture including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center networking, connectivity, and segmentation.
· Support server, storage, virtualization, container, and platform architecture decisions.
· Collaborate with cloud, security, application, integration, data, and solution architects to ensure coherent end-to-end architecture.
· Support infrastructure platform selection, vendor evaluation, technical assessments, and solution reviews.
· Participate in architecture governance, technical design reviews, and Architecture Review Boards.
· Define infrastructure monitoring, observability, capacity management, and operational architecture requirements.
· Support data center modernization, consolidation, migration, and infrastructure transformation programs.
· Identify infrastructure architecture risks, constraints, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
Required Experience
· Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, network engineering, cloud, data center, or related technology disciplines.
· At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Technology Architecture, or a comparable senior design role.
· Demonstrated experience designing complex enterprise infrastructure environments.
· Experience with data centers, compute, storage, virtualization, networking, cloud, and hybrid architectures.
· Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure modernization, migration, transformation, or consolidation programs.
· Strong experience working with technology vendors, infrastructure teams, security teams, and senior stakeholders.

· Relevant certifications in networking, virtualization, infrastructure, data center, or platform technologies are advantageous.
