We are seeking an engineer who is passionate about improving how technology teams operate. Working across infrastructure, enterprise platforms, operational processes, and emerging technologies, this role exists to increase the capability of the IT & Data Security team through engineering, knowledge management, automation, and the practical application of AI.

The successful candidate will help identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, reduce manual effort, enable better decision-making, and support the organisation as it evolves towards more intelligent, automated, and AI-assisted ways of working.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a rapidly evolving technology landscape and will adopt an AI-first mindset when approaching operational challenges. They will recognise that while AI is a key strategic capability, lasting organisational capability is built through strong engineering practices, structured knowledge, automation, security, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Working collaboratively across the IT & Data Security team, they will help identify, evaluate, and operationalise technologies and practices that improve the team's effectiveness, scalability, and ability to adapt as business and technology continue to evolve.
